Strawberry Fields Forever
Riding the bus was something she really adored. There were many reasons for this- should I count all of them? First of all she was flying while sitting at the top of these big red ones- you know what I mean. Also, she could see much more cats- she loved those mysterious animals, indeed-and there was no way she could stop her brain during the trip. It became her habit maybe a small addiction. Like cigarettes for many people. Ida used to laugh at her- she prefers something safer than buses- a fag won't do any harm. One trip taken in the bus can kill. You know, nowadays drivers are mad and the alleys are so small. Plus the crowd is eating almost every street.
So, it's enough to put on your headphones and you can start your journey. Everything shrinks very slowly and suddenly- it's all gone! 'Just like in the Matrix', she thinks every time she's doing that. Then you can initiate first vision. It will bring the rest.
Kama met an elderly man one day. He was very quiet and very small. They should put one of this sticks with big writing- FRAGILE on him. His hands seemed to tell the story of his life. They seemed to talk by the power of the prominent veins and small brown spots. Poor old hands were shaking. Kama saw branches in their place. Something that puzzled her the most was his aggressively blue eyes. They seemed to illuminate in hazy interior of the machine. A stench of beer was striking. After a while spent in silence he blinked at her. And then something changed.
She was going through a spacious hall. What surrounded her were the walls, which were made of gigantic trees. They were all shiningly silver just like the water was flowing down their trunks. Hypnotizing. She didn't really know where she was going; if there was any aim of this road. But she felt as unceasingly happy and light like a feather. The air was so clear and had a smell of lilac. But she suddenly saw these eyes. The Eyes from the bus. They called her at the place, which seemed to be the end of this big hall. She wasn't sure but it looked like they were shining- a glare similar to flash of lightning. But the owner of eyes was not the man she knew. It was a strange creature. Its skin was pale, almost white. Mouth blue with no expression. Black hair and eyelashes. No eyebrows. Big black wings. Then Kama saw that its lips were pasted. She felt a sensation of great fear- with no reason at all. The creature didn't make any move. She was hearing music playing softly in her ears
Wait a minute, what was the title of this track? 'Strawberry Fields Forever', she answered herself. 'Beautiful sound', and then it happened. She was at the end of a corridor made of the imaginary trees, which started to roll quietly. These eyes
They started to become bigger and bigger. The light was glaring, Kama couldn't see anything. It was hot. She wanted to run but now there was no turning back. Before the overwhelming feeling of melting she experienced the explicit taste of strawberry in her mouth.
Mrs. and Mr. Noone where devastated when hearing the news. Their beloved daughter has died. There were many people at the funeral. Ida was smoking a cigarette. Then she came back home by bus number 7. She felt somebody sitting next to her. Then the smell came, 'I must buy strawberries in the market around the corner', she thought.
